  1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Feel Good French, based in France. Privacy requests should be sent by email to contact@feelgoodfrench.com. We provide email-only privacy contact details and do not publish a postal address for this purpose.
  2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process course account data, email/newsletter subscription data, payment-related transaction data, messages you send by email, and website usage or analytics data. Tutor LMS account and course-progress information is live and private to your account.
  3. Why we use personal data and legal bases
We use personal data to deliver courses and accounts, manage newsletter subscriptions, respond to email enquiries, process course purchases through Stripe, keep appropriate transaction records, secure and improve the website, and understand website use through Google Analytics. The legal bases are contract, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligation where applicable.
  4. Newsletter and Brevo
Feel Good French uses Brevo to manage newsletter subscriptions and send email updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
  5. Tutor LMS accounts and course progress
When you create an account or access a course, Tutor LMS may store your account details, enrolments, lesson activity, quiz or course progress, and related learning records. This information is used to deliver the course experience and is private to your account.
  6. Stripe and payments
Course payments are processed externally by Stripe. Feel Good French does not process or store card details on this website. Stripe processes payment data according to its own privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
  7. Google Analytics, cookies, and website controls
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. Where available, you can manage non-essential cookies through the website cookie controls, and you can also use browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
  8. Contact forms and CRM/newsletter feeds
Feel Good French does not currently use Tally or website contact forms to feed a CRM or newsletter list. Contact for privacy matters is by email at contact@feelgoodfrench.com.
  9. Third-party services
We use confirmed necessary services to run the website and deliver our services, including Brevo for email, Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for analytics, and Tutor LMS for course functionality. These services may process personal data on our behalf or set cookies when you use relevant parts of the site.
  10. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only where necessary to operate the website, deliver courses, send emails, process payments, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
  11. Retention
Course account and progress data is kept for the duration of your account and then normally for up to 1 year after account closure unless a longer period is required. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus a reasonable period to manage suppression records. Analytics data is normally kept for up to 14 months in Google Analytics. Payment and transaction records are kept as required by French tax and accounting law. Email enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.
  12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take practical steps to reduce risks.
  13. Your GDPR rights
You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise your rights, email contact@feelgoodfrench.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.
  14. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the last updated date.
